GCF's grantmaking strategies work to enhance Cultural Vibrancy in Greater Cincinnati. Below is the strategy for Cultural Vibrancy:

  • Expand engagement in arts and culture, while diversifying the experiences, locales, and audiences

Cultural Vibrancy is vital to a thriving community and we are fortunate to have unique and vibrant arts organizations in Greater Cincinnati. By working closely with our arts and culture organizations, we’ve seen the following trends and needs.

Please note that what’s listed below is not an exhaustive list of our grants but some highlights of the needs our grants have addressed.

Building an Arts Community
The Lebanon Theatre Company (LTC) provides the community around Lebanon with high-quality, affordable theatre.
Connecting Families through Art
The Behringer-Crawford Museum (BCM) connects community members to their history and cultural heritage through educational programming.
Improving Efficiency
The Ensemble Theatre (ETC) and the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra (CSO) were hindered by outdated ticketing systems.
Strengthening Neighborhoods
The Clifton Cultural Arts Center (CCAC) was created by citizens.
