Environmental Stewardship

Clermont Creek

GCF's strategies work to protect and improve the environment for future generations. Our objectives for Environmental Stewardship are:

  • Strengthen the green economy and reduce our carbon footprint by promoting energy and resource efficiency through retrofitting buildings, improving transportation options, and changing the individual and institutional behaviors
  • Protect the natural environment and enhance livability by increasing the availability of local food; and by restoring, maintaining, and improving green space and natural habitats throughout the region.

Our work gives us insight into the work nonprofits are doing to preserve and improve our environment.
