GCF is able to make these grants because of the generosity of donors. These gifts are important to the community because they allow the Foundation the flexibility to meet changing community needs, now and in the future.
What type of grants do you award?
The Greater Cincinnati Foundation administers grants to address a wide range of community needs and issues. We award grants to qualified nonprofit 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations. Below is list of grants we provide.
GCF makes grants from community and field of interest funds. We award these grants for services in eight counties: Butler, Clermont, Hamilton and Warren (Ohio); Boone, Kenton and Campbell (Kentucky); and Dearborn (Indiana).

Grants for Kids
GCF offers two Grants for Kids programs, Learning Links and Summertime Kids, which provide grants of up to $1,000 to support innovative educational and enrichment projects for area youth.

Private Foundation Grants
GCF has very special partnerships with several local private foundations and charitable funds. Our professional staff help the foundations' trustees carry out their charitable vision by advising and administering their grantmaking.
