Building a more prosperous Greater Cincinnati region is The Greater Cincinnati Foundation's goal when we invest in our community. To do this, our communities need to be vibrant, sustainable, and provide economic opportunity in the area of job creation.
What are we doing to create change?
GCF, thanks to its generous donors, is able to make an impact through a collection of grants, impact investments, grantwriting assistance, and partnerships with other funders and intermediaries. These are long-term problems and we are in it for the long haul. Effective change doesn't happen overnight.
3 strategies to improve Job Creation:
- Build and enhance infrastructure for entrepreneurship and small business development
- Grow existing businesses
- Attract new businesses to the region

Theory of Change
A Theory of Change guides how we think about our community investments. It identifies investment priorities, activities, outcomes and indicators to help assess how our grants are contributing to progress on community-wide goals.
