We are Walnut HillsMany area neighborhoods are in decline, especially in the urban core, and in great need of revitalization. The foreclosure crisis in recent years has diminished the vibrancy of our region and extended the time needed for a full economic recovery.

What are we doing to create change?

GCF, thanks to its generous donors, is able to make an impact through a collection of grants, impact investments, and partnering with other funders and intermediaries. These are long-term problems and we are in it for the long haul. Effective change doesn't happen overnight.

  • Promote a comprehensive community development approach by improving the physical, economic, and social conditions of neighborhoods.
  • Enhance quality of life and strengthen community and civic engagement.
