1000 Women Strong Volunteers Create Parenting Kits
On November 13, 2010, 1000 Women Strong held its first volunteer event. 70 women and girls from the Greater Cincinnati community came together at Seton High School to create 450 educational kits for the Santa Maria Community Center in Price Hill. The kits provide parents the tools to help their children learn colors, shapes, letters, numbers, kinesthetic skills and writing.
