Remembering William C. Portman

We remember with fondness our friend William C. Portman, who passed away on August 31, 2010. The Portman family has a long history with The Greater Cincinnati Foundation. Mr. Portman was a member of GCF's Distribution Committee (a forerunner of the board) from 1979-1983. His late wife Joan Jones Portman was the 1990 recipient of the Jacob E. Davis Volunteer Leadership Award. His son William C. Portman III (Wym) has served as a member of GCF's Governing Board since 2002. Our thoughts are with his family as they remember and celebrate his life.
