The Anthem Foundation of Ohio, a $21 million supporting organization of The Greater Cincinnati Foundation, is now doing business as the HealthPath Foundation of Ohio (HPF-Ohio). The change was implemented to better reflect the organization’s mission of advancing the health of underserved Ohioans.
“HPF-Ohio is committed to helping all Ohioans, regardless of status, wealth or circumstances, achieve their fullest health potential,” said board chair Marvin H. Rorick, MD. “We work toward achieving this goal by engaging the voices of the underserved, embracing challenges and opportunities as catalysts for creative action and capitalizing on strategic opportunities directed toward systemic change.”
Our Vision: All Ohioians, regardless of status, wealth, or circumstances will have the ongoing opportunity to achieve their fullest health potential.
Since 1999, this has been the vision and promise of the HealthPath Foundation of Ohio (HPF-Ohio). With an endowment of more than $29 million, HPF-Ohio has awarded more than 9 million in grants to address some of the most pressing, yet neglected, health issues faced by Ohio’s indigent population - preventive oral health care and family violence prevention.
Our efforts in both preventive oral health care and family violence prevention are community-based. This approach takes advantage of community strengths and empowers individuals and organizations to work together toward a common goal. We support programs and strategies that are family-focused and responsive to the needs of diverse populations.
These programs involve partnerships among a wide range of stakeholders to ensure integrated and comprehensive services and support.
HPF-Ohio awards grants to nonprofit organizations for preventive health care projects and initiatives in a 36-county region in Ohio. (Click the mouse icon below for a map showing eligible counties.)
