upcoming Women's Fund events
Greater Cincinnati Foundation adopted changes in 2017 to our grantmaking process to allow us to better serve the nonprofit community while aligning with GCF’s focus on building an equitable community. Funding opportunities are offered throughout the year with purposes steered by the giving goals of our generous donors, past and present.
The Giving Black: Cincinnati Project is a study of black philanthropy in our region. Greater Cincinnati Foundation worked with New England Blacks in Philanthropy, along with support from the Kellogg and Ford foundations, to collect data on local black giving. By understanding how African Americans give of their time, talent and treasure, collectively we can work to improve our community for all who call our region home.
Guided by a core team of civic leaders, the All-In Cincinnati Equity Coalition is creating a local policy roadmap to be released on October 19, 2018, based on the framework of PolicyLink’s All-In Cities initiative. The project aims to strengthen relationships and build trust between individual local leaders working on multiple, intersecting issues.
Tickets and sponsorship opportunities are now available for the 2018 Women of the Year 50th Anniversary celebration on Friday, October 26, 2018. This special and well-earned recognition for exceptional women has been a tradition in our community.
