Laura Menge Honored With Legacy Award

Laura Menge, Giving Strategies Officer for The Greater Cincinnati Foundation, received Legacy’s 2016 Next Generation Leadership Award in the category of Community and Social Services. 

CINCINNATI (July 20, 2016) - Laura Menge, Giving Strategies Officer for The Greater Cincinnati Foundation, received Legacy’s 2016 Next Generation Leadership Award in the category of Community and Social Services. Legacy is Northern Kentucky’s young professional organization.  The award recognizes the career and civic accomplishments of those under 40. 

Menge leads GCF’s Northern Kentucky Fund, helping donors align their philanthropy with permanent charitable resources for Boone, Campbell, and Kenton counties. Previously, she worked for a family foundation in Washington, D.C., and Boston Children’s Hospital.

She serves on the board of Renaissance Covington, co-chairs the Leadership Northern Kentucky (LNK) Alumni Association, chairs the Junior League of Cincinnati’s Transfer Committee, and is membership chair for the Historic Licking Riverside Civic Association in Covington. A member of the LNK Class of 2015, she helped create the award-winning NKY Makerspace for Boone County schools. She volunteers with Impact 100, Make-A-Wish Foundation, and the St. Elizabeth Hospital Foundation Young Patrons Guild.
