The Greater Cincinnati Foundation Welcomes Deepika Andavarapu

Deepika Andavarapu has been hired as the research and evaluation officer for The Greater Cincinnati Foundation.

CINCINNATI (June 5, 2017)—Deepika Andavarapu has been hired as the research and evaluation officer for The Greater Cincinnati Foundation.

Andavarapu oversees and drives special research for GCF, including reporting and evaluation of the Collective Impact/Backbone cohort. She plays an integral role in helping the Foundation assess its progress and impact, and supporting staff to use evaluative information to accelerate progress towards the Foundation’s mission.

“Deepika brings extensive research experience to this role from working around the world and several states in the U.S. over the past 5 years," said Dora Anim, Chief Operating Officer.  "I am positive that her work will foster new initiatives and growth for our grantmaking impact on the community.” 

She is a past adjunct professor at the College of Design Art Architecture and Planning (DAAP), University of Cincinnati and has numerous published works surrounding her Doctoral Dissertation Research. Andavarapu received a Ph.D in Regional Development Planning and Master of Community Planning from University of Cincinnati.  She is a resident of Mason, Ohio.
