“By providing these funds, we hope to see more of our neighbors receiving basic, emergency and behavioral health services,” said Harold Brown, GCF’s VP of Community Strategies. “Without community partnerships, this type of support to our community’s most vulnerable wouldn’t be possible. We are excited to partner with organizations in these efforts to make Greater Cincinnati a more equitable region.”

Funds used in this process are available thanks to the generosity and forward thinking of GCF’s donors. Funding may be used to support, expand or strengthen existing programs; enact capital improvements; launch a new program; or build organizational capacity. Collaboration between like organizations is highly favored. The selected organizations will receive funding in early May 2019.

Grants will be made to nonprofit organizations with efforts based in the Greater Cincinnati region, which includes the counties of: Hamilton, Butler, Clermont and Warren in Ohio; Boone, Campbell and Kenton in Kentucky; and Dearborn in Indiana. A complete list of criteria, a schedule of optional RFP workshops, application instructions and more can be found in the RFP document.
