CINCINNATI (Dec. 12, 2023) — Greater Cincinnati Foundation (GCF) has named Sara Bolton as chief of staff, effective Jan. 8.

In this newly created executive team position, Bolton will develop data-driven, culture-building strategies to improve operations and optimize human capital.

“Sara’s ability to build a high-performing learning and results-oriented organization will be a tremendous asset as we seek to accelerate our work and drive sustained community impact,” said Matthew Randazzo, president and CEO.

Previously, Bolton served as vice president, business services, for AMEND Consulting, where she drove growth through bolstering internal infrastructure, instituting the Entrepreneurial Operating System to improve business efficiency and overseeing business services team operations and performance. She also spent 11 years at the Health Collaborative, where she led a 22-person team, managed relationships with 35 member hospitals, and oversaw a $19.5M operating budget, among many responsibilities.

Bolton serves on the board of directors for Interact for Health and Forest Hills Foundation for Education and on the grant committee for Bi3, Bethesda Inc.’s grantmaking initiative. She also recently held board positions with Hoxworth Blood Center and Best Point Education & Behavioral Health (previously The Children’s Home of Cincinnati). She is a member of Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber’s C-Change Class 9.
