Cincinnati Enquirer: Opinion: Female-dominated jobs seen as less valuable

In 2017, the Women’s Fund of the Greater Cincinnati Foundation commissioned a study from the UC Economics Center to explore whether a gender wage gap exists in our region. A simple comparison of median earnings between men and women was inadequate. Instead, the researchers examined how our economy rewards men and women for the attributes they bring to the job market and whether disparities exist in those rewards.
