Meet Our New Governing Board Chair – George Vincent

GCF’s Governing Board provides a diverse community perspective critical to guiding our mission of making our region more vibrant and equitable for everyone. We value the insights, experience and dedication of all of our Governing Board members. In 2022, we welcomed our new Governing Board Chair, George Vincent, who has been a force for positive change in the community.

Vincent joined GCF’s Governing Board in 2019 because he was motivated to make a significant difference in the community with an organization that has an outstanding reputation. “It is the only organization in Greater Cincinnati that brings together a broad cross section of our community, in a sustained manner, to address the many needs of our community,” said Vincent. “Every great community has a great community foundation and GCF is the great community foundation in Greater Cincinnati. In addition to aggregating donors across the community, GCF acts as a convener, a leader with a focus on critical issues, an initiator of ideas and cross-sector partnerships and provides a spotlight on community needs.”

As Board Chair, Vincent will focus on improving the visibility of GCF and increasing the amount of assets under management and volume of grants made. He will ensure that GCF continues to have a positive, meaningful impact on the community and serves as a catalyst for change to build a great community.

Vincent is Managing Partner and Chairman of Dinsmore, a national law firm with more than 725 attorneys headquartered in Cincinnati. He has driven the firm’s significant expansion and continues to lead its strategic efforts. He also serves on the boards of a number of area businesses and community organizations.
