Cincinnati Chamber Adds Transportation Coalition Leader
Experienced campaign and coalition leader will nurture a broad, diverse coalition
The Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber announced that Taylor Liggins will join the Chamber as a Transportation Coalition leader. Ms. Liggins will work directly with any and all constituencies in the region as the Chamber continues its efforts to collaboratively build a broad and diverse coalition centered on The Connected Region.
Ms. Liggins joins the Cincinnati Chamber with experience building coalitions across the state and managing successful political campaigns in Cincinnati. Most recently, she was deputy political director for U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown’s reelection campaign and managed Councilmember P.G. Sittenfeld’s 2017 City Council campaign.
This new role is funded thanks to a generous grant from Greater Cincinnati Foundation (GCF). Greater Cincinnati Foundation believes the greatest change happens when people come together—in partnership, collaboration, and generosity. This grant will connect thousands of people to a broad transportation vision for the region and will engage people to act and make positive change for our community.

“We’re excited to have someone with Taylor’s coalition building experience and political savvy joining our team to focus on one of the most important issues impacting our region,” said Pete Metz, who leads the Chamber’s work on The Connected Region. “The future of transportation – and especially public transit – in our region will be defined by our community’s ability to come together and drive transformative change on behalf of our businesses and residents.”
Earlier this year, the Cincinnati Chamber and partners launched The Connected Region, a vision for transportation that will guide the region’s investments and projects to better connect people to jobs, education, health care and all that the Cincinnati region has to offer.
